Meat CSA
Coon Rock Farm is now accepting applications for its Winter 08/09 Meat CSA. The meat CSA subscription fee is $480 and Includes 6 months of meat starting in November and running through April. Delivery will be on the first or second week of each month and will consist of $80 worth of pasture raised, free range heritage breed chicken, heritage breed pasture raised pork, and pasture raised, grass fed lamb. The box will include a variety of cuts including whole chicken, chops, roasts, ribs, uncured bacon, and various sausages.
There are several pick-up locations for your CSA box: Sat from 10:00 till noon on the farm in Hillsborough, Tuesday from 4:00 till 6:00 at Duke Gardens in Durham, and Thursday from 5:00 till 7:00 at Zely & Ritz Restaurant in Raleigh, and Saturday from 8:00 till noon at the South Estes Farmers Market in Chapel Hill. Any business that can get at least 5 subscribers in one location can also become a pickup location.
The Winter Meat CSA subscription fee of $480 is non-refundable and is due with your application. The number of winter CSA subscriptions is limited and allocated on a first-come, first -served basis. Payment along with your application is required to secure your subscription.
