Coon Rock Farm on the Piedmont Farm Tour

The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and Weaver Street Market will host the 21st Annual Piedmont Farm Tour on Saturday and Sunday, April 23-24, from 2-6 pm on both days.  Coon Rock Farm is proud to participate for the 8th year in a row!  We’ll have guided walking tours, pasture raised heritage breed brats on the grill and fresh local ice cream!

The Piedmont Farm Tour is the perfect way to meet your local farmers and learn about the Triangle’s local and organic farms. This year’s tour features 38 sustainable working farms in Orange, Chatham, Alamance, and Person counties.

Tour tickets purchased in advance are $30 per car for ALL farms, ALL weekend. Your button is your car pass – good for a full carload of people. Day of registration is $35. Buy your tickets in advance and Save $5! Or, become a CFSA member and you’ll save $5 more (members pay $25 in advance).

The tour is self-guided. Choose the farms you want to visit on the interactive map at or follow one of our suggested Piedmont Farm Tour Adventure Trails. Visit any farm in any order. And, don’t forget to take a cooler so that you can bring home some of the farm fresh products for sale at many farms! No pets allowed. The tour is rain or shine.
