COVID-19 Update

March 16, 2020

With widespread concern about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to let you know that we’re taking extra measures to help keep all of our customers safe. We take to heart the mandate from the government: “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule. You and your employers should follow CDC guidance to protect your health at work.”

1) In addition to already following the everyday strict regulations from Health and Ag Departments, we’ve implemented extra measures recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization.
2) We have verified that the sanitizer and cleaning solutions we use kills both flu viruses and Coronavirus.
3) We are also taking extra steps to sanitize all surfaces any product comes in contact with.
4) As professionals, we have always practiced good hand-washing, but now we are washing our hands with an extra dose of enthusiasm and vigor and wearing gloves while packing and delivering all orders. We have verified that all of our vendors are doing the same.
5) We’re also monitoring the health of all employees (there are only 3 of us) at work each day and anybody with a fever is required to stay home, per health department regulations.

As always, we will deliver directly to your door and leave your order in an insulated box. There is no need for you to come to the door, or have contact with the person delivering your order. All ordering and invoicing will take place online.

Please know that your continued support during this time is of vital importance to us and the farmers, fisher folk and food artisans whose livelihoods depend on sales. We are grateful for you and the opportunity to serve you.
