FALL PRODUCE CSA starts in October! Sat, August 12, 2017

Coon Rock Farm is now accepting applications for our Fall Produce CSA.  We are one of only a few local farms that offers a Fall only CSA and we are limited to 100 CSA subscribers.  Our Fall Produce CSA delivers 12 weeks of produce with weeks off for holidays and really bad weather from early October until mid/late March.  Each week will include $24.00 of vegetables, roots and herbs.  The subscription fee is $300 due at time of application and is non-refundable once the CSA has started.

We have a few turkeys left for Christmas!  They are in the 8 to 12 pound range, are $10 per pound and will be ready for delivery the week before Christmas.

Pre-order Heritage Turkey Special: Reserve your bird now and pay a non-refundable $50 deposit and we will reserve a bird for you. These are heritage breed birds raised outside on grass. They weigh between 8 lbs and 20+ lbs. Coon Rock Farm offers Heirloom Tomato COOKING CLASSES Mon, July 18, 2016

Farmer Jamie DeMent, of Coon Rock Farm, is offering cooking classes focusing of Heirloom Tomatoes.  Jamie will come to your home and teach her favorite Heirloom Tomato recipes.  The menu can be set according to your personal tastes but can include anything from tomato tarts to salads, to tomato sauces and salsas, to dishes featuring pasture raised meats from Coon Rock Farm.

Classes are limited to 10 people and are $75 per person, including all ingredients.  If you’re interested in details or in setting up a class, email Jamie at jamiedement@mac.com.
